1. Introduction
Welliyah is a mobile platform that connects users with independent wellness, beauty, and personal care professionals.
By accessing or using the Welliyah mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how personal data is collected, used, and protected.
2. Platform Role
Welliyah operates solely as a technology platform.
- We do not provide services directly
- All services are delivered by independent professionals
- Welliyah does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or outcomes of any services
3. Women-Focused Platform
Welliyah is designed as a women-only platform to support privacy, modesty, and culturally respectful care.
The platform prioritises connecting users with female professionals where possible.
Welliyah reserves the right to verify users and providers where necessary.
4. Account Registration
To use certain features, users must create an account. Users agree to:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials
- Be responsible for all activity under their account
5. Booking Services
Bookings made through Welliyah are agreements directly between the user and the independent professional. Welliyah is not responsible for:
- Missed appointments
- Service quality or outcomes
- Conduct or actions of professionals
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Each professional may set their own cancellation policy. However, the following general platform guidelines apply:
- Cancellations more than 24 hours before the appointment may be eligible for a refund
- Cancellations within 24 hours may not be refundable
- No-shows are non-refundable
Refunds (if applicable):
- Are processed via the original payment method
- May be subject to provider approval and third-party processing (e.g., Stripe)
- Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider
7. Payments
- Payments are processed securely through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe)
- Welliyah does not store full payment card details
- Welliyah may charge a service fee or commission
8. Disputes
In the event of a dispute:
- Users should first contact the professional directly
- Welliyah may assist in communication but is not obligated to resolve disputes
Final responsibility for services remains between the user and the professional.
9. User Conduct
Users agree not to:
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Provide false or misleading information
- Use the platform for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to interfere with platform functionality or security
10. Reviews and User Content
Users may submit reviews and content. By doing so, you agree that:
- Content must be honest and not misleading
- Content must not be abusive, defamatory, or unlawful
Welliyah reserves the right to remove or moderate content at its discretion.
11. Health and Wellness Disclaimer
Welliyah does not provide medical or health advice.
- Any health, fitness, or wellness information is for general informational purposes only
- Users should consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical concerns
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Welliyah shall not be liable for:
- Injuries, damages, or losses resulting from services
- Actions or omissions of professionals
- Booking-related issues
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
13. Account Suspension or Termination
Welliyah may suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion, including for:
- Violations of these Terms
- Fraudulent activity
- Unsafe or inappropriate behaviour
14. Account Deletion
Users may delete their account at any time directly within the App.
Users may also request deletion by contacting support@welliyah.com.
Upon deletion, personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
15. Changes to Terms
- Welliyah may update these Terms from time to time
- Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date
- Continued use of the App indicates acceptance of the updated Terms
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
