Why I started Welliyah
Before Islam, I worked in the wellness and beauty industry for many years as a hairdresser and massage therapist.
After reverting to Islam, I started seeing wellness differently. I realised many Muslim women were quietly struggling to find services that respected their privacy, modesty, and comfort.
Too often, women had to explain their boundaries, worry about mixed environments, or compromise their values just to access simple wellness services.
As a single mother and wellness professional myself, I understood how emotionally exhausting that could feel.
So I created Welliyah — a platform designed to help women feel safe, understood, and at ease when booking care.
This is more than a business to me. It's something I genuinely wished existed.
